Say that again! - Rephrasing activity
A short reading and rephrasing activity connected to tools and gadgets. The person that has described the devices has used too many words and the phrases need to be simplified. First, connect the names to the pictures and then the phrases to the devices. Then get the students to rephrase the sentences. For advanced groups, you can get them to invent similar sentences for household objects. Answers included at back.
