New technologies, new behavior? Spike Jonze movie trailer - keys included
I have edited the trailer of Spike Jonze´s movie ´Her´ released in 2013 in order to focus on the ´love story´ between the main character and his vocal assistant.
This activity comes after 2 writing comprehensions, one about addiction to smartphones, the other about someone who quit it (see other worksheet), and another activity using the commercial for Apple Iphone 4, introducing Siri, the vocal assistant.
I ask them if they have heard of Samantha OS (the Operating System in the movie ´Her´), and then I start this activity. My students enjoyed it.
I edited the trailer to keep only what I wanted to, and added another version of it, with English subtitles.
