A bank robbery has just been committed. The police is reporting the situation. So students have to complete the sentences with the given verbs in the Past Simple. A second exercise also reintroduces questioning but still in the Past Simple. A not too difficult and motivating exercise. I remember my students liked this sort of subject. I have other interesting wss about "bank robberies". I still have that fantastic video in my PC. Well have fun with your ss.
