The teacher divides ss into 2 teams, team A picks the first clue (for ex. #2) the T reads the corresponding clue and team A gets the opportunity to guess the country BUT each team only gets 2 chances to guess, after the second they are eliminated from this round. If the team decides to pass or guesses incorrectly it´s team B´s turn, either to guess, or to pick another clue THEN guess or pass. The game continues until all clues are given or one of the teams guesses. The number of points is awarded according to the number of clues needed - fewer clues= more points. 1 clue=5pts, 2=4pts, 3=3pts, 4=2pts, 5=1pt. I ususally list #´s 1-5 on the board and check off the corresponding clues that have been given so that the ss know what clues have already been given and how many points the round is worth. After the ss guess, go on to the next round with another country and 5 new clues.
