Adjective + preposition
This is a great game to work on adjective+preposition. Students have to complete the activity by choosing the preposition they think is right. They may not know the answer, but, this is the grammar casino, so it´s the luck of the draw!.
Once they have all finished it is time to start playing and ... place their bets! They have all 100 points and have to bet the points they feel like it on the first sentence. If they are sure about the answer, they bet more points, if they are not, they bet less. We check the answer and if it was correct, they will win the amount of points they had bet. Thus, for their next bet they will have more points to play with. They winner is the student with the most points.
