It´s an interesting auction game to practise Gerund and Infinitive. The rule is the following: hand out papers. Students should decide which sentences are correct. Then they should buy only correct sentences according to their opinion. Everyone has $100. The bid starts by $5 and increases by $5. Remind students that the winner is who will buy more correct sentences, so they shouldn´t spend all their money for one sentence. The game starts in the following way: -Who will give me $5 dollars for the first sentence? -$5! -Who will give me $10 dollars for the first sentence? -$10! -Ten dollars once! Ten dollars twice! Ten dollars three times! Sold! Who will give me $5 for the second sentence?..
