PAST SIMPLE AUCTION
I use this worksheets to revise past simple, both regular and irregular verbs and the modal could. Students have to decide if the sentences are right or wrong and bet a quantity of money (or just points) on their bet. If their guess is correct, they win what they bet and so it goes to their gains column. On the contrary, if their answer is not right, they loss the money. At the end of the worksheet students add up their results: gains-losses. The student who has a higher amount is the winner!
You can use the worksheet as a template for any grammar point you are working on, just change the sentences!
