Reading King Alfred
This is an integrated skills activity about King Alfred, a famous Anglo-Saxon king. Individually, students read the text and then complete the questions they need to ask their partner to be able to fill in the gaps. Students work in pairs, asking the questions to complete the text. For a higher challenge, the questions can be taken out and students can come up with their own questions. For lower ability, questions can be ready made.
