Elicit various ed/ing adjectives from students, write them on the board. When you have about twenty adjectives hand out this paper either folded in half, or cut in half. The students pick names and adjectives and then insert them into the story to create a funny story. My students laughed like crazy when I did this activity in class. For example, "Karen is confused" and "Teacher is boring." The students loved it, you can personalize the name with your own class.
