TED Talk and work sheet. Watching and writing using various tenses, *perfect tenses.
This is a TED Talk focusing on imagery of pollination in the context of world ecological balance. Students watch and listen to a 7:33 minute video twice (once with subtitles, the second time without). There are 5 questions prompting response in various tenses, focusing on the perfect tenses. Ss are to write several full sentences for each response, describing different personal impressions /feelings /thoughts /ecological comprehension,etc.
I used this in Upper Intermediate/Advance level classes (as a writing test) with excellent results. Ss continued to discuss the video and the greater questions about ecology, balance, issues and our responsibility.
