Level Placement Activities/Test
The student completes these speaking tasks while the teacher listens, monitors (helps if necessary) and evaluates the studentīs level of English. By focusing on conversation and topics of interest, this worksheet is an alternative to placement tests. This worksheet has been designed to work with computer science professionals but it can be adapted to any topic. Then, the S is encouraged to write some questions to know more about the teacher (qualifications, interests, experience, etc.) which the T Will use to assess the studentīs ability to form questions. Finally, there is a questionnaire for the student to reflect on his/her objectives for the course.
