Hyperloop Reading and Debate
A short reading adapted to be like part 1 of the Reading and Use of English section of the CAE exam. The reading is about Indian plans to build a hyperloop railway infrastructure in the country. After the reading there is a debate with motivation cards for a similar plan to set up a similar transport system in Spain. It´s best to do this in pairs. Each pair selects their card and then, taking topography, environmental impact, funding etc. into account, they must pitch their idea to a board of investors. Answers for the reading section are at the back. Perfect for engineers or people working in local authority, finance, or even politics.
