Template for a movie review
Focus: Structure of the Movie Review. Teacher needs to prompt students with phrases using an actual review or indeed taking a movie and working on the sheet together. Focus on simple language and clarity of expression. elicit responses from students about movies they have seen and get them to write sentences about the movie. Make it a living active classroom activity. Cut up strips with sentences and get them to order them. Then place into the review template. I will put up a sheet of sample phrases to be cut up and scrambled so students can order correctly.
