It is a short video lesson for intermediate to advance students. The students ability level setting depends on whether you use the subtitles provided or not at all, and the number of times you play it over.
Generally as a rule I will play the video once with or without subtitles, depending on the classes overall ability. Next, I then pass out the question workprint and pre-read all of the questions before playing the video once more.
Again, depending on the level of students, you may want to use English subtitles or not. I give the student cues as to when the answer to the next question is coming up. For example, I will say that question number 7´s answer is coming up etc.
The students simply select the answers provided a, b or c on the print provided.
In conclusion, the level of vocabulary is quite high at the beginning, but then gets easier as the video goes on. It is a very interesting tale, with a good positive piece of advice at the end.
