Murder at School- Simple Past Detective Game Murder at School- Simple Past Detective Game

This game is a fun way to get the kids talking. Each student gets a copy of the prompt (that�s why it is featured on the first page so many times). Then, you give each student one of the role cards. Each card includes a few details about the person so the students can come up with an alibi. The student who is the detective receives the questions to ask all the other students in their group (can also ask additional questions, but these at least help them out). At the end, the students can try and guess who the murderer is. They use simple past, talk, and have fun! My students really enjoyed it.
