Crime Role Play
My wallet was pick-pocketed on a bus one week. I decided to do a class for my English majors on crime, with a couple of role plays. I introduce the class by describing how my wallet was stolen - they find this hilarious, paricularly when I describe wedging myself between the doors and shouting in my broken Chinese at the driver to stop! I give the more able students the other role play, which takes place in a court.
