The History of Board Games
We did reading and then created our own board game with a blank board and the students creating cards with any questions or rules that they wanted the game to have. We had a lively discussion about games. The lesson took us two 90min class periods, because creating the game questions for the students was engaging and challenging as well as creating the rules. Vocabulary can be pretaught. It is challenging, but enjoyable!
