mystery game
This is a game I´ve played with my advanced class in order to have them practice past perfect and past simple. There is a victim, his name is George Baker, and 3 suspects, each with a motive. The students are investigators and they have to solve the mystery based on the clues they find. This is how i did it (but I used pictures instead of the written evidence): I scattered the evidence in the classroom, from the door to the window, trying to create continuity and after we started the lesson I had the students find the pieces of evidence and order them according to the moment when they think the actions took place; they had to form sentences such as: "before he left the ... the killer had already...". I hope you will enjoy it and have as much fun using it as I had.
