Two Reading Texts (Throw a ball to your sts and let them play with it)
Here are two reading texts.. Create you own tasks, use them for fun reading or get some tips below!!
Warm-up: Show Angelinaīs lips and Bradīs eyes and ask sts who they are.
PRE-READING: There is a task for pre-teaching vocabulary. For this task, I drew my own pictures for each definition of the words.
Important: Ask who loves Angelina J. and Brad P. and groups them accordingly.
WHILE-READING: Group or pair A.Jīs and B.Pīs funs again and ask them to complete the given sentences by using either correct or incorrect information from the given text (Give two/three sentences to each group). Then, reflect the sentences from OHP (or ask sts to write them on the board), tell other groups to decide whether the given sentences are true/false. THe sts who have written the sentences provide their class-mates with feedback.
POST-READING: Ask your sts to produce sentences about different celebrities (maybe local ones)by using the words that have been covered in the pre-reading task.
