Haiku Poetry
A haiku is a type of poem that originated in Japan.
It consists only of three lines.
The first line has five syllables, the middle line contains seven syllables and the last contains five.
The theme of a haiku is usually based around nature, a season, but not always.
The idea is to give the reader a specific feeling. Read the examples, then write your own.
