SIMON AND GARFUNKEL - poetry or songs??? SIMON AND GARFUNKEL - poetry or songs???

I decided to look for songs that are borderline poetry and remembered Simon and Garfunkel. I wanted something recognizable but not sth my sts hear on the radio every day. I didnīt want many wss or a lot of work for the sts to do, I wanted to create short breaks from double-lessons, or as intro or end to lessons. This is urban poetry with music, and part of general culture, so I believe it will find its place in my teaching repertoire for advanced teenage and adult sts. I hope you find it useful.
