WYNKEN, BLYNKEN AND NOD by Eugene Field - poetry corner WYNKEN, BLYNKEN AND NOD by Eugene Field - poetry corner

This is a lesson plan(with wss) based on the wonderful children´s poem Wynken, Blynken and Nod (by Eugene Field). A copy of the poem is included, also 2 wss, an activity card and lots of ideas on how to introduce the topic (dreams and dreaming), discussion points, project and poster ideas. You can just read it to kids (it has such a melodic rhythm)or do all the activities, or even perform it in front of parents (My kids recited it 2 by 2 - each pair had 2-3 lines to say, placing a huge ilustration of the lines on the stage, and in the end we sang Abba´s I Have a Dream...it was dreamy!)
