British Rioting Incidents
This is a worksheet I prepared to deal with the recent incidents ocurring in London. Students have to do a matching vocabulary exercise (including all the vocabulary for this topic: riots, looting, curfew, etc.)and then fill in the gaps in the article with those words. It is based on a news article published by VOA NEWS and can be complemented with this video: http://www.voanews.com/english/news/europe/British-Community-Cleans-Up-After-Night-of-Looting-127321128.html I hope you find it useful! I used it with my adult students, but can be adapted for teenagers over 15 o 16.
