I borrowed 2 extracts from the printable http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=242034#thetop and added another excerpt + questions and activities What is interesting to analyse is the change in the narratorīs psyche. In another extract, the narrator realizes that Chinese cities have changed names and that change echoes her personal inner change. You can also work on the preterit and present perfect tenses.
