Mao´s Last Dancer reading comprehension
This reading comprehension was prompted by the exhibition of "Mao´s Last Dancer" at the Melbourne immigration museum. Li Cunxin´s story depicts a very strong individual who overcame extreme hardship to become a ballet dancer and escape the Chinese Revolution. The text can be used to discuss world events and fits in with the grammar topic simple past tense. I hope it´s useful.
