Murder Mystery (intermediate level)
This was a really fun active way to get students to read. You can do this in a number of ways: either have the classroom set up with stations and print out copies for each student (kept in a packet at the station), then give students a slip of paper telling them which station that they´ll go to in which order (1-4-3-2), and try to get as few students following each other as possible.
Or you can also do this in teams, having groups of 4-5 moving through the stations and having only one copy available at the stations per group.
The students really enjoyed this activity and had a great debate within their groups, in english, as to who the murder was.
