The pirate´s treasure
This worksheet is divided into two activities. The first being a Picture dictation and the second, a giving directions activity. Students are given the worksheet with a big grid (a map), which contains numbers and letters. Once handed out, teacher dictates about 6 sentences, such as ´In 3C There is a palm tree and a banana tree, and watch out with the monkey´ and students draw them. After that, in pairs students hide a treasure in their map with a cross and they must give directions in order to get to the treasure. They can either use the normal directions or giving the degrees of angles to turn left or right.
