This worksheet uses a familiar fairytale. It provides a short reading which highlights the typical phrases found in fairytales (the ultimate idea is that you can use this to form a template for the students to write their own story). It also highlights some new vocabulary and there is a reading comprehension which encourages the students not simply to copy the answers from the text but to think about the meaning both of the questions and the text. Their is also a writing exercise at the end. This sheet can be combined with fairytale descriptions one, two and three
