How To Summarise News
Every week I have one student make a news presentation about current events. They use this format to make a short summary of the article the piece of news (article they read, story they watched, etc.) and to write their opinion of it. After their presentation we have a discussion about it. Each other group member has to both state their own opinion as a response, and ask a question to the presenter.
