An introduction to ellaborate unlikely excuses taking as a source a real piece of news. the students will develop their imagination thinking of an unreal excuse at the same time that they practice the pasts tenses: past simple and past continuous. Students enjoy this exercises when work in pairs and then read out loud the excuses for other students.
