Tongue Twister Bookmarks or Cards (6 pages plus ideas for play) Use them with my mouth gameboard.
I drew the mouth(s) that you see on each bookmark/card. The first 10 lines on each card are from this website: http://international.ouc.bc.ca/Pronunciation/
The last two lines on each card were written by me, with the exception of the Wh and W card which has only 10 lines on it.
These 12 tongue twister cards can be used with your own activities or with my mouth gameboard. Here is the link: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=195296#thetop
As students go around the board they need to read a tongue twister. If they cannot read their tongue twister without a mistake they must miss a turn.
My gameboard currently has a dentist on it, but you can change that image to one of two I have provided so that it will make more sense as a tongue twister game.
Another way to use these cards is to pass them around while your students sit in a circle. Students can read just one tongue twister or read all of the lines on each card. Whoever makes a mistake is out of the game. Keep going until one student is left.
You can also lay these cards on a table without a gameboard. Students can roll a die and if for example they role a 4, they must read number four. You decide how many cards will be on the table and/or which card to read from.
Have fun!
