Bucket List
This worksheet I use in class to have the students think about what things they would like to accomplish if they found out they were going to die soon. I always give them the set up. For example, you tell then that they have just come back from the doctor and he has told them that they have only 3 months left to live. Then I hand out the sheet and we read through it together. Then I give them some time to think and fill out their ībucket listsī. Then I have students stand and read their lists to the rest of the class. It is a great speaking activity and my University kids liked it a lot. If you have access to DVD facilities, you can also use the worksheet after showing the movie "Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Anyhow, hope this is useful for you...
