Conversation about memory
Cut out the cards and give a set to each group (or in pairs). The last card in each column has two idioms related to memory. The cards a flexible in how they are used. Some of the vocabulary and some concepts may be a little challenging. For the speaking activity we were also working on brainstorming so I incorporated a little prep time before they had to speak on the topic. I had my students create definitions, examples, and some roll play for the idioms (with a little help). They taught/presented their idioms to the class.
