Everyday Conversation
As students come in, they work partners for 5 minutes or so at the start of each class. When you first introduce the activity, go over the vocabulary on page 2, helping with pronunciation, then model the conversation with a volunteer. Insist that class members answer in complete sentences, reading from the sheet for the first week or two. As they become more comfortable with the conversation, ask them to fold the sheet in half lengthwise so that only the questions can be viewed. In time your students will be able to ask and answer each question easily and spontaneously without using the sheet at all.
