Instant Conversation #2 - Car Sale Instant Conversation #2 - Car Sale

The is the second in a series of "Mad Lib"-type role plays I call Instant Conversations. In it, the students write the answers to simple questions, using vocabulary they´ve recently learned - not realizing they´re creating something for the upcoming role play. In the Car Sale Instant Conversation, the students are designing very unusual automobiles, which they´ll then draw, and then try to sell to each other in a full-class mingle. I´ve had success with this lesson over a large range of ages and ability levels. Younger kids like the ridiculousness of it, while teens appreciate the chance to learn vocabulary and talk about a subject many of them are interested in.
