These are two very interesting newspaper articles. One is about a guy who was 60 Stone and would have died if he hadn´t lost weight. The other one is about a couple who ngelected their children to a almost fatal degree as they were hooked on computer games and TV. This is an oral exercise my students have always enjoyed very much. Description/lesson-plan see below. W o r k s h e e t: 1) Read the text, look up words and read the text closely so that you can retell it in as many details as possible. You may note down 10 keywords (words – not sentences!) to help you remember! 2) Tell the story to somebody from the B-group and answer your partner’s questions. 3) Take turns (you listen and ask) 4) Swap texts, read your partner’s story and compare it to what you were told.
