This ‘put the conversation in order’ activity takes longer than you’d think. Although deceptively simple, it works with both elementary and intermediate. • Students work in pairs. Photocopy one sheet for each pair. • Cut into strips, and hand out one copy to each pair. • Students should put the strips in order. Tell them it’s a race.
