Topics for 5 minute debates
Gap filler for intermediate / advanced students. Pair Work : Each pair picks up a card and is given +/- 5 minutes to take notes (no sentences,just words)for a mini-debate to tell the class (one of the students is for, the other one is against, obviously...). Afterwards, the other students in the class can give their opinion and everybody can debate! It really works in most classes!
