I wrote an e-mail in which a girl is applying for a reality show taking place on a wonderful desert island. I tried to use advanced level grammar and vocabulary so as to show students how they can construct a piece of writing at a little bit higher level. I tried to highlight some of the more descriptive and sophisticated advanced level vocabulary in my writing. Students would have to write a respond to the girl in which they provide some further information about the details concerning the island and the show. Pupils would have to be encouraged to use a wider range of vocabulary and diverse grammar structures as the level of this task is advanced. I hope that you will find this worksheet useful.
