- Divide class into group of four - Tell the class about the situation and set the task: “You were lost on an island. There was food and water on the island but nothing else. Here is a list of thing you may find useful. Discuss in your group and choose the five most useful items.” - Remind students to use language of agreement/disagreement - Hand out cards (handout 2) - Each group present their solutions and defend their choices against the others’ arguments.
