For or against Globalization (DEBATING)
Well, hereŽs another worksheet aimed at debating. Students are first asked to brainstorm on the subject, what globalization evokes to them ! Then, I give them the worksheet (with the pros and cons) which I leave them explore in pairs. The ws is mainly composed of pros and cons aimed at helping ss to take position on the subject and also building vocabulary. The second sheet proposes a match the vocabulary with their definitions exercise and some extra ex you may find useful as well. In addition ss have to produce a writing in 3 paragraphs about the advantages and disadvantages of globalization. Useful connectors are provided. Follows an extra worksheet with useful expressions to give opinion. Hope youŽll find it useful !! Hugs !!
