This is a role play exercise designed for groups of four students. Each group of students are given a specific situation. Within each situation the students have a specific task to play, e.g. friend who is injured, or emergency services operator etc. The tasks ensure that the students have enough scaffolding to be able to accomplish the exercise. Off course, the teacher models one of the situations (I recommend situation 11) I play a.b & d while I get a volunteer to play c. Good luck I know this activity works.
