This lesson plan includes the general description of the lesson (pre-requisites, target group, aims and lesson procedure) as well as three worksheets (Attachment 1-3: template for guided brainstorming, role cards and writing activity) on the similarities between the Great Depression and the Current Financial Crisis. Students act out different roles and discuss the topic. The aim of the lesson is to personalize history and by doing so students should develop deeper cultural and historical understanding and awareness.
