Alibi Gamesheet
*UPDATED with blanks so that lesson times and teacher name can be personalised.
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Read the Alibi gamecard to the students or ask them to read it to their partner. This can be done with the student(s) listening but not reading to make sure they understand the rules. You can then allow them to read the gamecard for themselves.
2) Students prepare their alibi with a partner/partners.
3) Then they are told the BASIC details of their classmate´s alibis. They think of questions they could ask them to find gaps in the alibi.
4) Finally, pairs are interrogated in turn by their classmates. Each partner is interrogated ALONE by the class while their partner(s) is sent out of the class. They then switch so that their partner can be asked the same questions. After all pairs have been interrogated, there is a class vote (done on ballot paper) to decide which is the guilty pair.
*The game lasts a LONG TIME. You should have at the very least 30 minutes for it.*
