Welcome to
ESL Printables,
the website where English Language teachers exchange resources:
worksheets, lesson plans, activities, etc.
Our collection is growing every day with the help of many teachers. If
you want to download you have to send your own contributions.
1. Tell the class they are going to do a survey. Explain that each student will ask a question to as many students as they can.
2. Give one card to each student. Tell them to check if they understand the question they are going to ask and if they know how to pronounce it.
3. Point out that the object is for each student to find out how many classmates answer ‘yes’ to the question asked.
4. Set a time limit. Students mingle and ask their question to as many students as they can. Tell them to count (with their fingers) the number of affirmative responses they get. Monitor and help.
5. When the time limit is up, get the result of the survey from each student.
