YES OR NO GAME -- (PRE-)INTERMEDIATE VERSION (good for adults, too) -- A VERY EFFECTIVE METHOD TO MAKE YOUR STUDENTS TALK! -- SUCCESS GUARANTEED
These game cards will definitely turn your classroom into a magic place, because your ss will have no other choice but to answer lots of questions. They are not allowed to reply to any of the questions by just saying "yes" or "no". You can make this activity even more challenging and exciting by telling your ss that they have to answer every question with a whole sentence, e. g. they΄re not allowed to say just one word like "sometimes" or a short expression such as "I don΄t know". If your students are tired, this game will definitely wake them up, because it enhances their concentration! It is definitely not easy to avoid the words yes and no when the questions are designed to make you answer with yes or no. ;)) (The original idea is from Terry Miller/Paul Lamond Games.)
