Bingo Icebreaker
Best used after students choose English names (in an EFL setting) or with groups of students who are unfamiliar with each other. The second page is for a bingo game. To use, instruct students to write the other studentsī names collected in part one in random squares. Call on one student, and instruct the student to read off one of the sentences on the right side of part one of his or her choice. The first student points to the appropriate student and it is now that studentīs turn.
Reduce the size of the bingo grid and the number of questions if part one takes too much time.
