ICEBREAKER
This document is a copybook cover I have used today with two classes. I was not feeling like asking my students to speak about themselves for the 1st lesson and I chose to start with a more cultural activity..... Once they filled in their personal information, they had 10 minutes to prepare as many sentences as possible about the pictures. All of my students found the American president first and they were eager to give me as many information as possible about him. Then, the activity became a real challenge for all of them as they wanted to name all the pictures : when necessary, they asked each other what they knew. All students took part, no matter their level of English. I hope your students will be as enthusiastic and talkative as mine !
