Icebreaker: First Day of Class Activity
This is a worksheet for the ´getting-to-know-you´ portion of class. Students make questions in written format that students WILL ASK THEM, as well as writing the answers other students say. This is a hidden drill to review question-forming, and an intermediate step can be put in where students review all the questions on their sheets and go to students to help correct questions they don´t understand (with input from the teacher). A class review of questions and question-forming can be added at the end of the activity. Sheets can also be collected to review students writing, or a discussion can be added about short and long answers, etc. Very adaptable.
