Mini Book 6: Bang! Bang! Bang! in colour and greyscale
This is an adaptation of a story I wrote in 2007. This story uses only phonically regular words, 5 short vowels and a limited number of consonants. For reading comprehension interact with the children like this: What is the man doing? Can you bang your desk? Does your doorbell go bong? What sound do (cymbals) make? And suchlike. You can ask the children about other sounds. Get them to draw a picture representing ï¿½Bang, bang, bang.ï¿½ and have them write a short descriptive sentence, with your help, under it.
